Since 1990, Sciences Po Lyon has implemented an international outreach strategy based on five pillars:

Bolstering our international partnerships and collaborations;

Promoting our training program abroad during events such as the NAFSA Expo (Association of International Educators) and EAIE (European Association for International Education) conference;

International expansion of our training programs through the creation of seven institute area studies diplomas (DE), combined degree programmes and the hosting of 12 visting professors each year;
4
Encouraging international mobility of our teaching and administrative staff;

Bolstering student exchange programmes: each year Sciences Po Lyon opens its doors to 300 international students from across the whole world as our third-year students jet off to a wide range of partner universities.
Since 2008, and thanks to over 170 agreements with partner universities, we have run combined degree programs with prestigious universities including the Hong Kong Baptist University in China and Loughborough University in the UK.
This ambitious strategy allows Sciences Po Lyon to rank among the Institutes of Political Sciences, offering the widest diversity in study destinations for students.
