Mir@bel

In 2009, Sciences Po Lyon launched the Mir@bel documentary network and platform, facilitating access to journals for the national academic community. It is now the operational leader and one of the co-pilots, along with Sciences Po Grenoble, ENTPE and MSH Dijon, under the aegis of the national MSH network. Alongside these 4 pilot establishments, more than 120 partner institutions and 340 professional contributors offer services to students, doctoral students and teacher-researchers.

Today, the Mir@bel network is involved in a number of national missions, notably in support of open science. These missions and national funding, via the National Plan for Open Science (PNSO) and the National Fund for Open Science (FNSO), are operated by Sciences Po Lyon.

The Mir@bel2022 project, winner of the FNSO2, is led by Sciences Po Lyon. It aims to anchor French scientific journals internationally with shared, open and high-quality data on their publishers and their access and redistribution policies.
