Scientific Interestsgroups (SIGs)

In line with the organisation of its degrees (Institute diplomas and Masters) around cultural areas, and with the strong international dimension of its training, as well as of the research conducted by its teacher-researchers, the institution is a partner in four SIGs. These structures bring together the CNRS and higher education establishments to support multidisciplinary research projects and international cooperation in specific geographical areas.

Sciences Po Lyon is a member of the following four SIGs:

• The Institute of the Americas: for North America, Latin America and Central America
• SIG Asia – French Academic Network on Asian Studies: for Asia
• GIS Momm: for the Middle East and Muslim worlds
• SIG Eurolab: for the European Union
