Degree-seekingstudents
To be awarded a degree by Sciences Po Lyon, students must have been admitted to study at the Institute via our classic admission route, just like French students. Two competitive entrance examinations are available to international students: the first year competitive entrance examination, and the fourth year competitive entrance examination.
The first year competitive entrance examination is identical across the seven Sciences Po institutes in the Réseau ScPo (Aix-en-Provence, Lille, Lyon, Rennes, St-Germain-en-Laye, Strasbourg and Toulouse). This entrance examination allows students having passed the Baccalaureate, or within 1 year of obtaining the Baccalaureate, to be admitted to any of the seven Institutes via a single examination.
It is only possible to sit the examination twice, in the final year of the Baccalaureate or the year following obtention of the Baccalaureate.
Since 2019, enrollment for the examination must be completed directly on ParcourSup, and the examinations are held simultaneously in the seven cities of the ScPo network and 9 remote examination centers.
