You can find the list of courses offered to exchange students at Sciences Po Lyon in the list of documents to download below.

We recommend that you have a B2 level in French or a B2 level in English, depending on the language of instruction of the courses you wish to follow. We do not require an official language test; a certificate from one of your teachers is sufficient.

Course organisation

First-semester courses generally start in mid-September and run until the end of December. Second-semester courses start in January and run until the end of April. All examinations take place the month after the end of the course.

Examinations are generally held at the end of the semester for CO, CF and CS, while CDMs are assessed on a continuous basis throughout the semester. Students are admitted if they obtain an overall average of 10 out of 20 in the examinations. In this case, they receive all the ECTS for the degree concerned.

It should be noted that most of the teaching (except for the DFES) is given in French, so a minimum level of B2 is required. Similarly, attendance is compulsory and will be checked. Any absence must be justified by a medical certificate.
